The Maritimes and Northeast Pipeline Project

The Maritmies and Northeast Pipeline is a 30”/24” natural gas transmission pipeline that runs from the Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEI) gas plant in Goldboro on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada for 1,300 kilometres (810 miles) to Dracut Massachusetts, in the United States where it connects to the North American grid.
The pipeline runs through the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and the U.S. states of Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The system has the capacity to carry 440 million cubic feet per day.
Westlake Industries
Westlake Industries was contracted by Louisbourg Pipelines to engineer, procure and fabricate NPS 24”, NPS 30” and NPS36” test heads for use on the Maritimes Northeast Pipeline Project in the eastern Canadian pipeline system.
