Westlake Industries Inc. Continues Strong Growth By Securing Third Fabrication Plant
BURLINGTON, Ontario (December 11, 2009) — Burlington based pipe fabrication specialists Westlake Industries has completed the purchase of their third fabrication plant. Located in Burlington Ontario, this new plant adds approximately 35,000 sq. ft. of pipe fabrication space and 5,500 sq. ft of additional office administration support service.
This new facility joins Westlake’s two other major production facilities located in Burlington and Brantford Ontario. Combined, all three plants have over 100,000 sq. ft. fabrication space all of which utilize state-of-the-art design and production fabrication equipment.
"The acquisition of this new production facility will greatly increase the effectiveness of how we service our current clients. In addition, we are now securely positioned to effectively manage the consistent growth we have been experiencing and continue to expect," reported Richard Westlake, President of Westlake Industries.
Mr. Westlake continued to say, "The gearing up of the new plant will begin immediately and we are all very excited by the potential new business opportunities this facility will bring to the Region".
Westlake Industries was established in 2005 and the company holds TSSA Certifications for the fabrication of power piping, process piping, repair and alteration of pressure vessels. The company also holds CWB Certification.
